tell me about psychedelic honey đź‘€
this? or something more? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_honey
There is a mad honey from rhododendrons mountain laurel here in the US, but it can’t hold a tab of acid to Nepalese honey.
Harvested in Nepal, supposedly has psychedelic effect, not sure of the taste but I am sure that isn’t the point. Harvesters must hang from vine-like ladders dropping hundreds of feet off of cliffs and very carefully extract the honey from the beehives (and I use that word in the most imaginary sense). I will search for the Nat Geo article I read years ago, with pix, straight fantasy-looking.
Thank you! I will share with my bee keeper friend from eastern europe. She will either be very interested or she’ll tell me she has a stash in her cupboard.
