👀 my skincare routine is wash face when wash hair...which is on occasion. My hair is happier and my skin is happier. I also live in the land of humidity. I don't have to moisturize dry itchy skin, but under 65-70% humidity I'm looking for something to slather on. I also drink a ton of water and wear makeup only occasionally for dressing up (it's nice to camoflauge the dark circles that I've always had). But I agree, women's skin care regimens seem to be geared toward selling you products to combat problems caused by other products.

I think to each their own and if a lady wants to hide her perceived imperfections to bolster her confidence, go for it.

Wearing it on special occasions seems more reasonable but even then you only need a little bit. People are trying to look like things that they aren’t.

I laughed at myself one time when I tried to do an intense smoky eye look and promptly washed my face. It looked like I was trying to be something I wasn't...

Are you saying people who were makeup are fake?

👀 I'd say that yes some folks that wear makeup are most definitely fake. 🤐
