Our society today is feudalism through monetary chains rather than political chains.

When we WORK for money, but a few can PRINT money and just consume resources without limit, we are all their slaves.

This isn't metaphorical either. We work, and the counterfeiters get literally anything we make, entirely at their discretion.

If people in Plato’s cave failed to recognize Feudalism 2.0 for over 50 years, imagine the reluctance to leave the cave if the state manages to bootstrap Feudalism 3.0 via a CBDC.
