I suggested Amethyst should allow users to set an automatic expiry period for drafts. Hoping it catches on.
I understand where they're coming from with auto-perma-drafts but it's definitely not for everyone.

Ya, for better or worse, strfry can't reclaim the disk space without the relay going offline to compact I think, on all these replaceable events.. never really seemed like a problem, till drafts.

GC the old crap and continue concurrently without skipping a beet
almost done a rewrite of the GC that uses streams and batching and it flies... and doesn't require stopping the thing
and it has made me think that there might be a way to do this hot with a secondary RPC socket just for this one purpose but i'm not gonna do that just now because busy
