Muting only prevents you from seeing their replies.
Individual relays may or may not choose to ban an individual who keeps getting reported (a different thing from muting) from posting, but much like support for deletion / editing, itβs extremely unlikely ALL relays will do so, so Iβd expect there to be effectively no barrier to a troll being able to reply to you. You can just choose not to see anything else they say.
