At the level of the individual, socialist ideas are fed from two sources: firstly from historical ignorance and secondly from the far more repugnant resentment. Once they have coagulated into a veritable inner psychodynamic power source, these two forces transform once quite respectable faces into grimaces of anger.

And there is no one to whom such faces are unknown!
