I think the reason no one is afraid to say what they really believe is because there simply is no shadow banning, censorship, or de-platforming that is really sustainable on #Nostr.

A big part of that is design, but another huge part is simply the philosophy and culture that created it. People disagree vehemently up here quite often, but neither party is likely to whine like a little bitch and run off to figure out how they can control the others’ ability to speak. And for the few who might, they’ll turn up with little to no viable options.

This is how it should be. Grow up, people disagree. You won’t always like it, but it’s necessary for the evolution of culture, markets, and society. Without it, we literally rot and die.
