Did it drown out all the weed competition? Was it easy to turn over the bed?
No I didn’t plant enough to drown out everything but it did help... probably will do more next year. Worked out as more of a bonus crop than a cover crop but I’ll take it.
Haven’t turned it over but I’ll probably #scythe them down, layer on some hay, and plant with corn and pumpkins later in the summer
