"We protect ours." When a politician says that, citizens should be aware of what the politician means by that. He means his own, literally his own - his ass, his own pockets, his friends in the private sector, his bureaucracy and his own position.

It's always like that, it's always like that. It's just sad that people are naive and don't see it.
