Massive protests erupt against US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s visit to key ally Jordan for humanitarian negotiations during Israel’s genocide in Gaza. “The entire Jordanian people are united behind the resistance and Gaza,” - say protesters, starkly contrasting the political line of Jordan’s King Abdullah II.

On his ongoing diplomatic tour, Blinken will meet the foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, all US allies, as well as a senior aide to PA’s Mahmoud Abbas. Previously, Blinken left Israel empty-handed after talks on humanitarian measures. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ruled out any temporary ceasefire in Gaza, pushing back against US pressure.
