1. Find more relays because the stock ones aren’t enough
2. Find a reliable wallet that supports LNURL and Lightning Address format

Long story short:
Apple refused to approve Damus unless nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s disabled #zaps directly on notes.
This script restores it.
It just works!

Have you setup Nostr Wallet Connect with Alby or Mutiny wallet. It'll let you zap other people

From what I've gathered and seen in the past couple months or so, Nostr is like Mastodon in that it is decentralized, and a user-hosted protocol, except unlike Mastodon you aren't running your own server, you simply have ownership of your account no matter where you go with it. Users can transfer value between each other by sending small amounts of BTC directly via a zap button on posts, and content moderation is entirely up to you (this is something I'm still figuring out, such as how to create a policy to block out potentially illegal material)
But the question is: why send small amounts of btc between strangers? Is it an incentive mode? Reward for some type of publication or content? Is everything allowed here? I want to say that any type of information or content creation is permissible? How private is all this?
I think it acts as both an incentive and a way for people to show some support for things they like to see, an interesting concept at least. Imagine if hitting the like button on Twitter gave people 10 cents

If so, you need to install a Lightning wallet on your phone, something like Wallet of Satoshi

Once installed, you can connect it to Damus in the Wallet settings.
