Wow… I’ve spent quite some time as a lifeguard, but not even close to 20 years. What you’re saying is so amazing. Is it’s turbulence & mystery what draws you to it? What have you learned about the ocean in all of those years?

The ocean environment is simply awesome. Changes depending on the area you're in. I was in Sonar, so sound was (is) my expertise. How it travels in water; how topography and surface action can affect sound; and how to use that to our advantage. I could go for days and barely scratch the surface.
Beautiful and unforgiving. The ocean is not to be taken lightly.
