Random Bitcoin & consciousness thoughts
The body exists to contain and limit our consciousness and give it order. For without it, there would be no center of reference. Without a body, without matter, optionality and freedom would be too grand. As in Bitcoin, the limits on blocksize and supply are a necessary part of its design. We also choose to drive on one side of the road because it makes sense to limit our freedom in this construct.
I experience my body only as my own, when I experience the world through it.
While I cannot de facto prove that my consciousness is affected by another consciousness, I do experience it.
When I am perceived by the other, I suddenly realise I exist in another's consciousness. I realise I am perceivable by others, but I can never perceive myself as the other perceives me. I am limited.
