Nostr needs a CEO who can ship.

Knee-high boots on, whip in hand — time to cut through the bloat and fix what’s broken.

We're all CEO's.

1/ Learn to code; build it yourself.

1/ Offer sats to someone on here to make one for you.

1/ Or wait.

Or...

1/ leave, and good luck with adoption.

1/ Follow the trail of funds from OpenSats, HRF Bitcoin Fund, and others — all sipposedly building this for us for a while.

1/ Oh wait… the plan is for 8 billion people to code their own app? Got it.

Not a single social media app has breached 25% of the world population, but I do appreciate the lofty goals!

In the 1980's the internet was pretty hard to use. It kind of sucked, even for those who knew how to use it.

Question: Did the poor onboarding and UX of the early internet prevent its adoption in the long run?

Forget about 8 billion. Let's say the 3000 users on Nostr.

Breathe.

yes~! ^.^

The phrase "Throw the baby out with the bathwater" comes to mind.

Oh, I’m not throwing the baby out — I’m asking why the bathwater’s murky after millions in funding and years of “building.”

Maybe I really don’t understand, and the complexity of getting a functional client is way beyond what I imagine… but from the outside, it sure looks like we should be further along.
