Mine was owned by an old lady that kept it in a garage. I just hit somewhere around 250k miles the other day. When I got it a few years back, it still had tires from 2008 on it, with plenty of tread. I think someone was looking out for me when I found this gem.

Most old Toyotas end up in Mexico where they roll back the odomomter and don't care about mileage. If it has been taken care of, many of them can last a million miles. We just don't hear about that in the states. I only buy well used Toyotas.. Its a huge life hack. I trust my 4runner better than a brand new Chevy or Ford car.
My timing belt broke a few months ago, and the rental I was given was Jeep Cherokee with some "trail edition" trim.
It convinced me that I will never want a newer car, or any car with a screen. Driving it was a horrible experience (not that Jeeps are known for that), aside from the acceleration.
Yeah. Newer cars just seem like tons of shot waiting to break. I do not want screens. Why would anyone? I like knobs. Not tech that will be outdated in 2 years. Its wierd. 🤡
What kind of Toyota do you have?
Camry
Oh yeah. Those are almost all super undestructible. I have had a couple of those also. Great cars. And when the timing belt goes the car is still good. Not so with many hondas.
