After some consideration and just pure curiosity, I decided to set all fees on the channels on my node to 0 rate&base! YOLO! Already see a lot of transactions flow! 🐶🐾🫡🫂 let the lightning flow! ⚡️⚡️⚡️🌊🌊🌊

After further experimentation and trying to keep the flow, I went back to autopilot only keeping 0/0 with frens! (Unless I misconfigured something) Base fees are still 0 just rate is controlled by Autopilot! The problem is that one channel would get stuck (all lion my side) and nothing is routed. Rebalancing works, but costs a lot and only lasts for a few mins! Will continue experimenting further! 🐶🐾🫡

I’ve currently got 0/0 on fren and other small node but 0 base, low rate on most others. I still end up with some channels with liquidity all on one side and the just don’t move..
I rebalanced at least 10 times, losing over 5K sats and it just filled up in minutes! 🐶🐾😂
I have that happen even with the fees I have set. I still need to experiment with different fees I think..
Yeah, some nodes try to make profit really hard, and some end up paying it! 🐶🐾😂
Use LNDg is you are running LND. It automates rebalancing and node management. It will prevent any unprofitable rebalancing.
True! But it also will prevent rebalancing because none of my channels are that low on fees from remote! Only few! Also LNDg always failed to complete rebalancing, timeout or some other errors. I am looking into https://github.com/itsneski/lightning-jet for better experience! 🐶🐾🫡
You may need to adjust settings...takes a bit of trial and error adjustments. It works very well and have been using for over a year now. You can join the Telegram group for QnA.
I think it only does rebalancing once a day, I need it more frequently, channels blow up to quickly! 🐶🐾🫡
I’m also thinking I might open a bigger channel (2M or 3M) to you if you think it is worthwhile. I think 500 is a bit small. I don’t have the funds to do it at the moment but should be able to in a few days.
Sure! I’ll open one to you too, but in May ! Also no funds. I do have metric ton of inbound channels, wanted to try them all so went wild on Magma! 🐶🐾😂
