Gab is also a free speech platform. As far as I know they've never bowed down to any censorship request.

The last time I checked they were open source but maybe something has changed
I remember they blocked all Israeli IPs a while back for too much "coordinated spam". Not sure if that's still the case though.

There is censorship on gab when it comes to adult+18.
I was following this group +18 and they deleted it. They are against +18 content as they are a Christian based values site. Other than that there is almost no censorship.
That doesn't matter.
If there is a button that allows censorship then it will be pressed, now or in 10 years, it doesn't matter.
Even if not pressed, its mere existence is an undeniable fact that casts a wide shadow on eveeyone in the same way nukes dont need to be launched for them to be active players in geopolitics.
They *CAN* censor. Thats the problem.
