I'm going to call bullshit on this one. I work on academia, surrounded by scientists most of time, most of my days. Haven't heard anyone doing this. I personally wouldn't mind since basing the calendar on fantastic events seems kind of dumb. Yet, never ever have I seen anyone doing it.

It's not me saying this; many scientists, several reputable scientific institutions, and even some national libraries have cited this as one of the main reasons. It's just one Google search away. Ask Bard!
I don't need to ask anyone, I've been around scientists my whole adult life and I still am. I regularly go to conferences and talk with other scientists on different countries. This is simply not true.
And besides that, I wouldn't trust some AI regurgitater that can make up "facts" to proof their point 🤔
