Anger isn’t the problem. Suppressing it, bypassing it, or exploding it everywhere - that’s where things go sideways.

Here’s a healthier way to work with rage when it hits:

Step 1: Name it.

“I’m angry. Something feels off.”

That’s not weakness or drama, it’s awareness.

Step 2: Move it.

Anger lives in the body.

Shake. Stomp. Punch a pillow. Scream into a towel.

Run. Sweat. Cold shower.

Let your body do what your mind can’t.

Step 3: Let it speak (safely).

Journal uncensored. Voice memo it out.

Maybe make it ephemeral on https://heynow.surge.sh/ and let yourself be witnessed by the field. Or not.

No filter, no audience. Just get the rawness out of your system.

Step 4: Get curious.

What’s under the rage?

A boundary crossed? A deep value dismissed?

Old grief showing up in disguise?

Step 5: Use the fire.

Anger is fuel.

Fuel for decisions. Boundaries. Change.

Don’t throw it at people - build with it.

You have every right to feel the rage.

Just don’t let it rot inside you and suffocate you.
