Hi... I made a comment 'Great read! Thank you!" earlier below an article of Dergigi I read on habla.news https://habla.news/dergigi/1680612926599.

Somehow it also shows as my standalone post. When people checking my posts on another client (ie. snort.social), they will see that comment, but without any context to it. People will not know what the hell I'm talking about.

It's a bug right? Otherwise, people will be very worried to say anything because anything can be misunderstood out of context.

Anyone having same problem?

Author of the comments section on Habla here. Yes, I noticed the same and it doesn't feel right.

The issue is that these notes are the same kind 1's displayed on snort.social and the spec is not clear enough about these distinct use-cases. The notes created here reference Gigi's article in a tag, which is the root reference.

I think twitter-like clients should check for `a` tags and prevent display (unless there's an actual mention in the content of the note)

I initially read the long form on nostr:nprofile1qqszpxr0hql8whvk6xyv5hya7yxwd4snur4hu4mg5rctz2ehekkzrvcpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurvv438xarj9e3k7mgpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhg0autvn but struggled to get to the comment section. Now I’m on nostr:nprofile1qqs9xtvrphl7p8qnua0gk9zusft33lqjkqqr7cwkr6g8wusu0lle8jcpzamhxue69uhkummnw3ezuurpwfjhgmeww3hhwmspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgappj6n and it works as expected.

I’m also getting into the different clients and what each of them is good at, which is at times annoying, as you have to get used to the UX/UI of each client. Then again, as nostr:nprofile1qqsxu35yyt0mwjjh8pcz4zprhxegz69t4wr9t74vk6zne58wzh0waycprpmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuer9wfnkjemf9e3k7mf0qyd8wumn8ghj7urewfsk66ty9enxjct5dfskvtnrdakj7gnf5j8 also writes in this beautiful text, this is also a key element and benefit of Nostr, as everyone can choose how or with which client they consume content. Over time we‘ll get used to our favorite clients <3
