I hate those tutorials “How to leave a good impression during an interview” and other bs.

1. You are not a robot. Be who you are.

2. It’s a two-way street: yes, they need to like you, but you also need to like them.

It has to be a match from both sides, otherwise it won’t work. As simple as that.

It’s the LinkedIn era…

People acting like perfect and spotless NPCs just so they can outperform other applicants.

Desperate times

And then they forget one crucial piece: one may lack a skill (or two), but if one is trainable and aligned with the mission and culture, willing to work and develop- one could easily take the job from the “robotic, perfected candidate with all desired skills”. So it leads us back to the beginning- just be who you are. Don’t fake it. It’s a match or it isn’t a match- super simple.

Learning to use your current situation and skills as leverage instead of faking it is the way to go.

There’s one thing people hate more than truth.

Deceit.

Amin to that!

It’s literally a date, you just have to let it be… but if the date is with you si would be super nervous 😝

Nooooo I always tell people:”Please don’t be nervous, you need to “sell” yourself, I need to sell myself, job and the company, I’m the one who should be nervous!” 😂 but all jokes aside, it’s all about being aligned with the culture and the mission of the company.
