For Bitcoin, the 'centre of the conversation' shifted over time.

It started in places like the Cryptography mailing list, IRC, then went to BitcoinTalk forums, then r/bitcoin, then Bitcoin Twitter around 2016/17.

How long until it becomes Nostr as THE place for bitcoin discussion?

It takes time. I give it one more 4 year cycle. By 2025-2029 I think

all bitcoiners will have all Twitter Cost Averaged into Nostr.
