Right after this video she had a terrible accident and lost all her bitcoin and guns. Thankfully she is unharmed.
Love your story! It's seeking freedom, in whatever way, that leads people to bitcoin or Nostr, at least from my experience. But you just have to do your homework and have the curiosity to learn.

I think you probably hadn't linked money with expression. Money is the ultimate expression of your own preferences & values. People say you vote with your wallet but when your wallet is filled with debt coupons, your vote is being diluted & corrupted every day.
If you think of Bitcoin as a tool for freedom of expression, it has a completely different frequency to it.
Many of the blocks & triggers we have around money are from the corruption & debasement that has always accompanied our money. Spending & receiving Bitcoin is something different, something special.
It fills me with joy to hear the hope for the future in your voice. You're not the only one that feels it. 🧡

Similar thing happened with me too. I started on Nostr before I was a Bitcoiner. I was aware of Bitcoin before but never really got into it until I joined Nostr.

Thanks for sharing your story about being purple pilled. I love nostr, it is hope, just like bitcoin. I got into bitcoin a few years ago and nostr on the bitcoin white paper birthday.
I actually got censored on IG many times for talking about bitcoin. That’s what got me here. It’s wild that it’s a decentralized app, and we don’t have to use the same app to see each others posts.
What will come of the internet, value exchange and information exchange with these two protocols?
