To be fair , hedge fund loses the hair cut if they get wrong bet .. it is not ponzi so to say , but gambling for sure :-) ..

You can do the same ( gambling) thing in options market, by selling calls and puts on securities .. idea is one knows what they are doing .. and the thing is no one knows the future .. except that Bitcoin is going up .. for ever ..
