Yesterday, I witnessed a call being made by a team member to the benificiare of a client. That client was 34 y/o and had almost $500k in Life insurance. That client was fatally struck by a drunk driver on his way home Wednesday night.

The benificiare was his younger brother. I'm not going to front, but my allergies acted up a bit during that call. You know eyes, some tearing and stuff.

Sometimes it's not just job.

my wife also works in life insurance

when she was managing clams during the initial 2020 Covid outbreak

she was working 20hrs a day and it was non stop crying from the scale & magnitude of deaths

It can be emotionally draining. Both on the up and down side. That's why it has to be a passion and not a job. It's great that you support her in this. I'm sure it's takes a toll sometimes.

Its not 80s prison america anymore.

Its okay to cry.
