Thank you for so strongly representing all us hopeless coffee addicts.

So lame sipping from a βοΈ
It is for girlie men π
The same people that protect their families with a π« instead of a gun
Good one ππ
That's why you do 2 ββ
To make my point
But honestly, we do drink two small cups most of the time. I can get it all down while it's piping hot and not have to slam the big cup π€·ββοΈπ¬
Tee hee β¦ you called it a cup π₯Έ
Because it is a tiny cup π.

Omg youβre a cutie
It was made with longing and I had to buy it, it sparked so much joy at first sight. I smile every time I use it π
It makes me so happy to see people loving their tiny mugs. So many people ask me βdo you make bigger mugs?β even looking at what to me are reasonable-sized mugs. And then I also end up making very tiny little mugs, too small even for espresso, and going βwill anyone actually like this?β
Someone on Nostr actually bought one and it made me feel much better π
Lol. I do love the idea of a ginormous mug, but this one spoke to me at the coffee shop in all it's glorious wonkiness. We have others that are small that get used more frequently than the standard size coffee cups. I'm not sure if we're oddballs or not though ππ€·ββοΈ.
I also use this emoji for tea and cocoa!
But who drinks coffee out of something like that β possibly mh grandparentsβ generation or older. My grandmother gave me some beautiful China cups of that shape which she called coffee cups.
Yep, cup is such a retro word
Random theory: a lot of emojis were originally invented in Japan, which has less of a coffee culture than other parts of the world.
Therefore, coffee is something most people (or whomever drew this emoji) normally gets at a "cafe" where they serve it like this... As opposed to the brew you make every morning and pour into your "World's Greatest Dad" mug.
