⁤⁣Question… I hear a lot about the environmental/energy cost of bitcoin.

Has anyone written/thought much about the costs of maintaining the USD as the global reserve? I mean costs in the broadest way possible I.e. ~750 military bases, all kinds of soft power initiatives etc.

Seems to me those costs (including environmental) would dwarf BTC.
