Cut them, just don't hold a grudge. Forgiving them is not putting up with them. Leave them and pray for them.
True. Protect your mental health. Forgive, pray for, cut them loose. Remember too that “forgive and forget” might not always apply. God gave us a memory in forgiveness also. “Forgetting” might cause us to trust them when we needed to cut them loose/stay away, thus possibly going through an unnecessary cycle of hurt.

Yes, and don't be surprised if you have to do it more than once - sometimes grudges sneak back in. It can be hard to forgive... ultimately for me it comes down to believing there is a way to love life no matter what.
