Noice! I like a couple of psytrance choons. I used to play chill out rooms at psytrance parties in London. Musically it become a bit of an imitation of itself after a while, and also some kind of fleuro/l.e.d/cyberdog fashion contest - but I guess every 'scene' has its dress code. Like most scenes, it was good in the beginning. I don't think I've heard of Goa Gil. Maybe I have but I've probably left the memory in some squat in Dalston. I shall investigate later on. I used to go to psytrance illegal raves when I was under 18 cos obviously they let anyone paying in. Probably the safest place to go and get smash as a teenager lol. Goa Gil is like an OG, but he also plays some of the more experimental stuff. I didn't really know psytrance got experimental lol but it can be surprisingly quite interesting lol
That's true! - Those parties were safe. I never saw or heard of any trouble at all. The crowd were always nice.
Yeah there was a Japanese psytrance dude who took it to another level entirely (as the Japanese often do). I'll try to find out who that was.
Yeah, let me know. There's some sort of scene in Texas for weirdass psytrance, which is not what I expected of Texas lol
