I think doing so will be a big step in growing #Nostr. They’re an adjacent group of people that already use and understand public-key cryptography, and getting them on the protocol could be the way to finally orange-pill them.

Why would they ever come here when the little zappy button doesn't send their shitcoin?
It's deeply baked into shitcoiners' brains that innovation is little more than copying whatever bitcoin is doing and replace BTC with their token in it. If they really liked Nostr they'd already have Solonstr.
A DEX built on Nostr would be the reason, imo. I know they have really well-established DEXs, but few, if any, have support for Bitcoin and/or Lightning. Supporting direct swaps between shitcoins and the hardest money might be something they’re actually interested in.
