Google is taking actions which cause further harm to AOSP-based projects. We're worried about some of what's happening and we may have to end up entirely focused on OEM partnerships for future devices. We're not sure if we can support future Pixels so the OEM partnership could become the only option.

Welp…. Fuck.

#LinuxMobile is the only long term option for freedom and privacy.

Maybe.. eventually? I can tell you as a Librem5 owner the future isn't looking bright fast enough. Maybe Ubuntu Touch?

I'm daily driving a Librem 5 with postmarketOS quite comfortably without any major issues - the experience is light years ahead of the default OS PureOS Byzantium. With the Liberty Phone, it should be even better due to the increased memory and storage which would make it easier to run Android apps using #Waydroid.

Have you seen Flx1 from Furi Labs? It has even better specs, is closer to #GNULinux compared to Ubuntu Touch, and comes with #Flathub and Android app compatibility set up out of the box.

Really happy to hear. I would really like to get a phone to try postmarketOS as well. Is defnitly a project I would like to support.
