The way social interactions felt to me in the days of forums and boards, like nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr mentioned, they were much more of a low time preference activity, the interactions felt more meaningful.

Maybe because it was still new and fascinating. Everyone wasnt on it but everyone I knew was.

It’s everywhere now (social online) no longer niche part of life. It all feels very high time preference, little regard for substance, mostly.

For me, #Nostr is giving me the same vibes as the forum and board days. Hope it stays this way, even as it scales. I think it will.
