We tend to forget that US Constitution is a limitation on government, spelling out the ways in which it is supposed to respect natural rights.

I haven't followed the case of the Maryland man, but there's a whole lot of "but they're not US citizens" when it comes to deportation directly to prisons.

Lack of due process is unconstitutional (not to mention immoral); it doesn't matter where someone is from or what they're accused of.
