I’d start by asking them what they get out of using X or Bluesky. Then, if Nostr can provide those things for them, talk to them/show them how and the positive differences there are to using a decentralized social media.

Make it a conversation where you listen to them compared to wanting to convince them to change their behavior, which is what you are really trying to get them to do, and most folks aren’t that open to doing.

I don’t think people come and stay in Nostr because someone says something to them. Due to things that make Nostr Nostr, an individual has to put in more work than any other social media, so they have to want to accomplish something here/have a reason to use this amazing, early, rough but lovable space.

Focus on yourself. They will follow your example, eventually.

Two very good suggestions. One just has to hope that people are willing to listen.
