Is there a way to configure display & sleep settings on an older MacBook (like 2012-13ish) such that you can close the computer, leaving it plugged in, and it will keep running?

Even better if you could set the lock screen, close the computer, and have it not go to sleep.

I have a wanna-be-Bitcoin-node in a closet, but I’d rather not have another laptop sitting open on a counter all the time. City apartments aren’t known for their abundant surface area or storage 😉

Hilarious. And great idea, using an application to keep “doing” something. And this even works when you shut the laptop?

It’s very customizable. Preventing sleep with the lid closed is one of the options for sure.
