we live in a bubble, most people still do not expect inflation to continue and get worse, billions will be surprised as it happens

Most people don’t even know if they are living a real life or not
All a simulation I see now in my 50s
Slowly, slowly, and then all of the sudden.
Even for those of us that know better it can be surprising.
This 👆🏻 Combined with the macro situation, this creates the perfect storm.
even in argentina people still get surprised about inflation
every time my mom's healthcare goes up (30% every ~4 months) she is surprised and outraged
Just look at concert ticket prices in comparison to bank failures.
😃
We’re working on it! At least the concert piece. (Our partner was one of the music execs testifying.)

Can’t help with the bank failures though. Just stack sats and your concert tics will continue to get cheaper. #bitcoin Just remember that VIP packages are a shitcoin
🙏
As nonsensical as it may seem (which it is), many prefer a 1-2 percent annual inflation increase. I don't get it either.
I went to Lebanon last year for surgery. I was amazed when I exchanged $200 for a stack of around 2-3 million lira. People continued using the lira after that and I can’t imagine how much worse it is there now. People don’t realize how much they need #Bitcoin.
More will be surprised when the debt ceiling doesn’t get raised and instead Biden puts us back on the gold standard
Surprised, and angry about I believe… which may be the more important part
Ya know, The Sheep, some call'em Normies, these people who don't see, are like a benign organism just floating around that those who move with purpose have to navigate around. Good thing is, once in awhile there's a breakout of thought & the Sheep population shrinks. As we move forward now, without deeply thinking why, these Sheep people will start moving towards Bitcoin & Gold. It's their survival instinct. They see their paper money buying less and less stuff. They'll start to understand why. And Gold with Bitcoin will become the currencies of choice when contracts are signed.
Yeah people these days are ignorant AF... totally slave minds
What time frame are you considering?
I assume you're talking about the debt to GDP ratio. And that we are in a debt spiral with no escape at this point. Money printer go brrr. 100% agree with that.
In the short term, I do believe July's posting of June CPI data will reflect under 3% annual rate. June's data specifically because the prior years June numbers showed a significant decrease in rate of CPI rising. If it becomes true that June CPI (reported in July) shows the amount Im guessing. It will ultimately just be temporary. I do believe the debt spiral is something the US can't get out of. I just don't know the timing/duration of that eventuality.
Do you have a guess at that timing?
Are you referring to the cumulative inflation and the erosion of purchasing power I am a semi retired boomer in Canada and from my birth to 2023 with 3.5% average yearly I have experienced 1004% cumulative inflation I think the highest yearly inflation I have seen is 12% in the 70s Or are you referring to monthly rates approaching hyperinflation levels over 50% in a month I think it is a quantum leap for folks to imagine such super high inflation rates even though we can just look at Argentina Venezuela Turkey or another 18 or so countries currently experiencing hyperinflation It is one of the drivers that keeps me working so I can save and HODL Bitcoin for my family
Thanks, Willing
