Are you referring to the cumulative inflation and the erosion of purchasing power I am a semi retired boomer in Canada and from my birth to 2023 with 3.5% average yearly I have experienced 1004% cumulative inflation I think the highest yearly inflation I have seen is 12% in the 70s Or are you referring to monthly rates approaching hyperinflation levels over 50% in a month I think it is a quantum leap for folks to imagine such super high inflation rates even though we can just look at Argentina Venezuela Turkey or another 18 or so countries currently experiencing hyperinflation It is one of the drivers that keeps me working so I can save and HODL Bitcoin for my family
