Stacks is a premined scam that implements a forever ICO model - bitcoin holders send bitcoin to stacks holders to receive stacks tokens.

Stack promoters use affinity marketing and misleading terminology to hide this fact. Naive retail users are their target.

Due to the premine, founders and investors receive the majority of the bitcoin sent into the forever ICO which they then use to advertise the scam to more naive retail users. Incredibly predatory.

There was a guy from Stacks that came here and tried to launch Damus+ on the App Store 🙄

“Oh I didn’t know”… what a turd

A few of them popped up in and around the conference. 🫤 I just send them over to Nostr

And many influencer bitcoiners who should know best fall for it, maybe not by actively promoting it, but at in mentioning as if it was some kind of "sidechain".

Anything Dan Held promotes is guaranteed to be an affinity scam

Btw cashapp sponsors Aubrey Strobel from Trust machines (Stacks company)

@jack

Interesting… thanks for sharing

Shitcoiners gon shit.

This is why I stick to side chains and L2s not independent chains. Mint layer and stacks are shit.

all my homies hate STACKS!

here is how they do the manipulation (no one told me, I witnessed that myself)

So they want people to convert BTC into STX? Pass. 😂

Why would I be mad that you're a grifter?

I'd suggest anyone shilling stacks & other Bitcoin affinity scams use that help
