my mom once yelled at me for texting her in all caps because I was yelling at her in text and now I’m afraid to use caps because she will find me

When I was a kid I wanted to be a cartoonist, so I taught myself how to write like my favorite comic strip illustrators. I would only write in ALL CAPS at school and my teachers finally just gave up and stopped trying to convince me to write in cursive.
Ungovernable, even in grade school.
