These old tractors have an average age of 48 and are ready for another year of making hay! They don't make them like they used to.

This is my form of alchemy: grass -> hay -> cows -> beef -> fiat -> Bitcoin!

All through regenerative grazing and local customers.

A Big Tractor executive in Moline who takes a call from a bureaucrat in DC isn’t going to be able to shut those tractors off because you exceeded your carbon emissions for the year!

Your darn right about that. I like them all but this one is a Belarus, made for remote farms in Russia/eastern Europe in the early 80s. Everything on it is reusable and non disposable. It has a centrifugal oil filter! Very ingenious engineering for reliability and repairability, about the opposite of today.

Farmers seem to make good Bitcoiners, possibly because low time preference is an essential trait for farmers

He's not a rancher but he shares your interest in regenerative farming (and Bitcoin)

I share your thoughts on time preference! For small, local farmers we are used to doing things that most people think is crazy so that's another plus for the Bitcoin mindset! Also prone to disbelief for any government recommendations!

Thanks for the connection, I'll check it out
