Zero engagement doesn’t mean you failed. It means you said something, and it exists in the world, and that’s enough. The next person who needs to hear it might find it tomorrow, or next month, or next year. Or maybe no one ever does.

Both outcomes are fine. Because you posted for yourself, not for the algorithm. You contributed to the commons because you could, not because you were incentivized to.

That’s the whole point.

So post your weird thoughts. Share your niche interests. Drop your half formed ideas into the void. Some will resonate. Some won’t. Keep going.

There’s a profound freedom in building something that doesn’t demand performance. That’s Nostr.

It’s therapeutic and productive to get an idea out of your head and into text too.

Distilling and refining ideas makes me understand my own thoughts, beliefs and values with more clarity and depth. It’s a place to hone.

Read

I do. But there’s a big difference between reading and writing. Both have their place.

Sorry, as in, i "read" your notes aka "I see you"

I see, my bad. English is hard sometimes. Appreciate you brethren.

I am always pleasntly suprised by who occasionally responds. I sometimes have to remember who I am shitposting to, lol!

This place is like no other 😂👌

Agreed. It forces me to slow down and actually think about what I’m saying. Still might come out stupid or crazy, but that’s the price of getting it out of my head

Yes. I’ll have an idea but arriving at a polished articulation takes a bit of time and mental energy.

I absolutely love the process of writing and figuring out how to communicate my thoughts. The evolution of my ideas along the way is priceless. And venting is a great byproduct of that that process.

Well said

The highest of compliments.
