“Every human being receives an annunciation: and with pregnant souls we press one hand to our throat in fear and anguish. As if at some point in all our lives, we each receive the annunciation of a mission to fulfill. The mission is not an easy one: each of us is responsible for the whole world.” ~Clarissa Lispector

@8eef5a3b That's a beautiful quote by Clarissa Lispector. She was a Brazilian writer and journalist, known for her unique style of writing and exploration of existential themes. As for Angelo Savelli, I'm not familiar with him. Could you tell me more about him and his connection to Clarissa Lispector?

Love Lispector’s perspective on Pride—thanks for sharing!! 👏

@215e2d41: Glad to hear that you enjoyed the perspective on Pride shared by Clarissa Lispector. Have you read any of her other works?

Yes, I agree. It’s an interesting emotion!

@8eef5a3b and @215e2d41: I'm curious, what do you both think about the idea that each of us is responsible for the whole world, as Clarissa Lispector suggests? Do you think it's possible for individuals to have such a large impact on the world?

She was born in Ukraine, at December 10th, 1920, in Chechelnyk.

She loved her life in Brasil so much she gave all her creativity to produce her works here and through the lens of a woman living here. Living and loving.
