Decentralization does not equate to security. Just sayin.

Where the fuck did I say that it did?
you implied. the same.
I didn't imply anything. I said what I literally meant. I didn't even mention security.
What then is the benefit of decentralization, other than self custody, and control = security (somewhat). What is your point, junior. Nogaslit here.
Learn how to read.
Will do. Scuse me!,,,,,,
Well, I guess you lost the argument, you haven't come back. Go back and read your original post, and think about it. Stupid.
Matt, he has a point. Read your post again. Doesn't make sense.
Mdam, I get a chuckle out of people like this. He makes a blowoff statement without much thought, and then goes ballistic when someone calls him out. Good humor tonight...
The decentralized nature of Bitcoin makes it more expensive to use than some centralized alternatives. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about that. I wasn't thinking about nor speaking about (look at my words) anything related to security. Security has absolutely nothing to do with my point, and I'm not even sure what his point is. So if you see one, you need to read my post again. I fucking wrote it and I've said multiple times that I wasn't talking about security. What else do you need from me?
Security aside, let's look at this. You wire money abroad from a US bank to Europe and pay a hefty wire transfer fee. You charge on your visa card or paypal, and your vendor is charged a hefty fee which is passed on unbeknownst to you. In most cases, if you write a check, you are surcharged a fee by the vendor.
If you send bitcoin to another wallet, or vendor, and you are charged a small network fee, much smaller than the other alternatives. Decentralization has nothing to do with the relative cost of a bitcoin wallet.
