I love to read and I read a lot. Not a day without a book.

But how do you read?

Do you still have "normal" books? Or do you prefer the e-book? Or maybe an audio book?

To be honest, I love "real" books. I like the feel, even the smell, and also the possibility to reread passages, I often make notes or markings. I don't just pick up a good book once. There are books that I have read three or four times. If years lie in between, one often has a completely different view of the written and always discovers something new. When I travel, however, I definitely have my Kindle with me. I don't like it that much, but it's just practical.

And I also listen to audio books. But only non-fiction books. I must admit that very often I buy an audiobook I liked as a regular book as well.

But how does that look for you? I would be happy if you would share your experiences and preferences here.

Old fashioned books made of PAPER is soooooo much better, imho! Physical 📚books you can touch, smell, write notes, admire book cover design, etc. Also, brain retains more information than reading digital.

I’ve actually never finished a digital book. And it’s bad for eyes and ditto blue lights.

And who really wants to cozy up with a digital reading device on a rainy day with a 🫖🍵 cuppa?
