Bitcoin has a fixed market cap, but unfortunately you are wrong. Bitcoin can still lose value, just like any other currency. For example if a lot of people try to sell Bitcoin at the same time.
Be weary of people who say that Bitcoin can only ever go up and that you should hold on to it for as long as possible. Many of these people already possess Bitcoin and still want use you to cash out at some point in the future.
A big part of why people on Nostr criticize all other cryptocurrencies and call them "shitcoins" is because they feel entitled to the money that is being invested into those other currencies.
My advice is to ignore what everyone says and focus on what they do. In fact, ignore other people entirely and focus on what you can see is valuable in the moment. Does this make any sense?
