What's Cardano and Etherium's actually real world problem they are solving?

I vaguely understand the use for Eth's smart contracts but what's the pitch being used to draw out the value and relevancy.

I recognize their is staking opportunities for both coins, but once again how is it benefiting society as a whole and driving innovation?

Cardano's only real world application is to implement a diy central banking system for governments and mega corporations. So the old fucks can try to not become obsolete, but they didnt get the memo that it already happened to them years ago. They are just in shitcoin denial.

Etheriums real world application is for the younger generations to fuck around, play games, make easy money on stupid shit like NFTs. Generally is a fucktard marketplace for minting your own shitcoins and get rich quick schemes. Nothing to be taken seriously.

This is what I know etherium to be and would agree. I was like I'm I missing something here? I'm humble enough to know I have gaps but I haven't seen anyone on their soapbox talking about how it's changing the everyday person's life.

Its just for the kids and shitcoin afficianados.

Think of etherium as the playground where all the kids play around with their toys and games. It is chaotic, trend driven, very clicky, dirty, cool, messy, and sometimes fun. Until you get beat up by the rich kids with more money for market manipulatuon. Get wrecked financially, your portfolio shits itself, and everyone laughs at you. This happens multiple times daily

While at the same the real adults who have an understand of basic economics. Are on the benches watching their bitcoin value go up on their smartphones. While they just sit back, relax, and watch all the kids play with their shitcoins instead. We know better not to play kids games, because we have adult shit to do.
