You can make an image of the disk into an .iso file, although, I don't know if that suits your application.
I have two isos and need to use them to start the game. Many moons ago it was just stored virtually and was always as a disc when I opened pc, now I don't know how to do it 😂 Oh, I couldn't burn a pirated cd anymore, I remember nothing of this sort😂
On Windows 8 and newer it should be possible to mount the ISOs just by double-clicking.
It is (luckily for me), but I have to do it every time I turn it on. And since I have the isos somewhere stored, it's just annoying to find and open them both. I remember Daemon just sinply kept them mounted after turning pc on.
