My favorite view is that your identity is lightweight and portable. Naturally, one should be wary about sharing private key info with closed source clients. Which begs the question: Is plebstr open source? Where is the source hosted?
not from I've seen on their site. current is though and they're pretty nice as well. you should check them out.
