Found a loaded gun in a park today. Less than 50 yards from a playground. Just a reminder please be responsible if you’re concealing. Losing your firearm, especially next to a playground shouldn’t ever happen

Nah I called the cops and got the whole story while I was there. Old dude walking/running and pistol fell out when he fell on the walking path. Old dude had a big hematoma on his head and bleeding on his leg. Carrying your pistol in an open pocket isn’t ideal.

And agreed, absolutely not ideal. A concealed pistol without a holster is a great way to negligent discharge when reaching for it

I went and grabbed a garbage can lid to cover it until Leo arrived. I contemplated picking it up but didn’t want to touch it. Gun was literally in the middle of a busy walking path so I also didn’t want to scare people standing by a pistol on the ground especially in such close proximity to kids.
i'd look at it as a net positive,got a free gun, took it away from where something bad could happen with it
