I’ve looked into system 76 it seems like they make some pretty awsome hardware. I’m no shadowy super coder so Linux has always somewhat intimidated me but you are motivating me to look into it more! I appreciate the in depth response!

Perhaps it is me just being a noob but (as much as I know Apple has access to everything that touches iCloud) I thought that they were more privacy focused and good about not handing user information over to governments (although I did see the recent developments in the UK). Apple > Microsoft correct?

You are comparing two different STDs IMHO.

Do you want herpes (Apple) or aids (Microsoft)?

Either way you are going to get a nasty incurable disease. That both are guilty of doing the same thing behind the scenes. Violating your privacy and security by spying on you while selling your data to the highest bidders behind closed doors.
